ahhh milk floats, remember them. I used to deliver milk as a kid, was freezing in winter, your fingers used to get stuck to the bottles. We used to pick apples up from gardens and throw them at other rival delivery services, as well as eggs and morning rolls.

I must be old because the council estate I lived on back in the day had a Co-Op Dairy and the floats were pulled by shire horses, the local residents would almost fight to get the manure.

I miss milk deliveries... every time I heard the milk van as an early teen I knew it was time for bed.
