Had a PM asking me what game do I know of that had the most Queens.
Over the board there is the infamous 5 Queens Alekhine game, infamous
because there is evidence that it is analysis and never actually happened.
Red Hot Pawn players of course do better because when they get bored
some try to get as many Queens as they can and either accidentally mate
their opponent or else stumble and give their happy opponent a stalemate.

That was with four Queens There are over 50 RHP games with KQQQQ v K.
I’m wondering if some players with multiple Queens prolong the game keeping
an eye on their opponents grade and waiting for the right to mate to get as many
rating points as possible. This is called gaining rating points by necrophilism.
The record for the most Queens is a KQQQQQQQQ v K. (8 Queens)

I think the most I have ever managed to do was get two queens in play at one time, and even that is rare for me!
I briefly had three queens in this game for a total of four on the board, the site seems not to have a record of the moves, so this is from my database of old RHP games (is access to ancient games a subscriber feature?). It wasn't exactly necessary, but was a reasonable enough way of proceeding:

In that game with 8 queens, he had mate several times before actually finishing it. I guess he wasn't interested actaually ending the game.
