Another draw. Team Ding prepared their player well and he was
ahead on the clock as Gukesh drifted in a dangerous looking position.
I was licking my lips at the open file g-file v the Black King. Game on!

Suddenly Ding’s prep ended, he jumped into the think tank and came
out offering a three fold rep draw. Gukesh was not interested and on
the game went. With only the heavy pieces on the board a draw was
always looking on the cards. Both players probed but in the end a draw.

A mate in two pops up for Ding, Gukesh avoided it but I have a
couple of Red Hot Pawn games where the same idea was missed.

This is one of them. wolftune - runvuk RHP 2018
