A picture of me chessed up, not dressed up, but chessed up, from my days
as a speedway interviewer. My spell checker changed chessed to cheese
Luckily I caught it before posting. else you would have thought I was an idiot.
Two puzzles, the second of which, by M. S. Liburkin, is absolutely brilliant.
Here is the first one. (from an idea in a game played by Janos Flesch.)
White to play and....What would you do as White here?
Then an RHP game where we see a trick used in the Liburkin study.

@greenpawn34 saidI've had a short period of following speedway - did you ever interview Len Silver back in the day?
from my days as a speedway interviewer.
@Russ
No, I did see him ride in the 60's at the old Meadowbank Track.
The most famous rider I interviewed was Barry Briggs.
I became famous (infamous) for cock up's in my interviews and joking about.
I interviewed a riders pet dog once, on cue it went for the mic.
Most of the fun was had when I was let loose amongst the fans.
@greenpawn34
I only ask as he used to run a budget ski company and he would often have his riders out in the alps.
Of the few speedway riders I have met as a result, active and retired, they have all been completely nuts. Very brave guys.
