Nothing to discuss. Socialism is an abject failure. So much so that some people have tried to equate Scandinavian capitalism with socialism because they have welfare. Welfare that is reasonable, can successfully exist alongside capitalism.

You all heard it here folks welfare is not socialism

AJ the money passively cycles from the poor back up to the rich as a natural result of the laws supporting capitalism. It's like the water cycle.

I know your definition of socialism = welfare, but thats nonsense. The key feature of socialism is that there is no private ownership of property.

Here is Google:
********************
Socialism is an economic and political system where the community or the state owns and controls the means of production (like factories, land, and resources) for the benefit of everyone, aiming for equitable wealth distribution and prioritizing social welfare over private profit. While diverse, its core idea is collective ownership, contrasting with capitalism's private ownership, and it emphasizes equality, democratic control, and meeting human needs for essentials like housing, healthcare, and food.
Key Concepts
- Social Ownership: Means of production owned by the public, community, or workers, not private individuals.
- Collective Control: Decisions about production and distribution are made socially or democratically, rather than by private markets.
- Equality & Equity: Aims to reduce wealth gaps and ensure fair access to resources and opportunities.
- Production for Use: Focuses on producing goods and services to meet human needs, not just for profit.

Tried and tested all over the world but failed miserably, leading to mass poverty and suffering.

Please tell that to the USA Republican Party. They don't seem to know the difference.

That is rapidly becoming untrue because the Scandinavian countries are allowing in huge numbers of immigrants that don't have their work ethic and are just breeding more lifetime generational recipients of state sponsored laziness and criminality.
Same going on in Germany/France/England/Canada and the USA.
Gotta stop or they will destroy us. They have destroyed their countries, why wouldn't they destroy ours?

Mamdani is going to be a failure. I dont know why you allowing this green little Muslim dunce to rile you up. Mamdani won because he is a sweet-talking handsome man with a beard, a cute smile and some money... stuff women fall for. The women voted him in power. His ideas about running anything is flawed and doomed to fail.
