Are we allowed to name a specific player who is unwilling to compromise when bugs complicate a game being played?

What's "en passant"?

Read the FAQ
Nothing to do with en passant. Had to do with the colors of my and my opponents Knights being switched and I couldn't move the Knight that I thought was mine...

I see nothing unusual in either your current games or any that have finished since the start of May. If you really think that there is a bug you should report it to Russ, there really isn't any point in complaining to your opponent. I think you could make yourself look foolish starting a flame war if, as is likely, you are mistaken about the knights switching colours.

Are you referring to this position?

Invalid FEN inserted - 8/8/7k/6nP/3N1KP1/8/8/8/8

Black to move

You played 59...Kg7??

But if you were trying to move a piece of what appeared to be your own color, and the interface wasn't letting you move it, why would you make a move at all? Surely, that's a good sign that something's fishy. It isn't too hard to check the notation and see where your Knight really is before moving it, right? And if you suspect a bug, the time to complain to the site admin is before you move, not after.

And flaming your opponent is just wrong; it's not his fault if the game interface has bugs in it. You can't prove to him that the bug actually happened. I believe he did the right thing in continuing play.

It is probably not a good idea to argue in public. Take your complaint to the powers that be and see if the problem is solved in private. You could just suffer a wrong and not seek justice if you want. With that last statement made I must say that I do not know what you are complaining about.

Having looked at the game that seems to be in question, I don't think you have any basis for a dispute. If you think so, let us know the move on which your knight changed color (or colour, for our UK friends). If you can not be specific, please stop whining.
