Here's why I can't play blitz :(

I come up with $hit like this (around 30-60 seconds per move on average)

Both players rated 1300 or so. The first guy has been 1550+ but even so...:'(

lol I managed to hang a queen to an opponent who couldn't have been over 1000 in a 1 min + 2 sec game the other day (I still won on time, but still...)

My absolute largest embarasment: Game 3424745

it finished acouple days ago... such a bad game for me, I made two moves off the top of my head in the middle of the night... I'm sure you could guess which ones (take the queen? nope. Allow checkmate? yup.)

I would have had it in the bag on move 10.... if I was paying attention. 😞

Blitz is simply normal chess at faster time controls. Find out where you are going wrong e.g. :-

- taking too much time in the opening -> Learn a few openings
- playing well but getting gazzumped in the middlegame -> Study the middlegame
- losing in the endgame -> Study the endgame

If you find you get interesting positions e.g. a King Attack but lose on time try tactical puzzles.

Well I'm about 50/50 wins losses now.
My endgame has been rudely exposed several times already 🙁
Trouble is, I can only beat 1200-1450's. Can't seem to beat anyone much above that in a 10 or 5 mins game.
Mind you - I have yet to beat a 1700+ player on here!

I just lost 3-4 games in a row to a ... p1200 😀 now I know that it's 04:22 AM here, but still... 1 minute games, the guy was really verbally aggressive, mocking me and stuff.. this comes after I won without problems against 1600s and drew vs Pawn Riot in a 5 min blitz .. he was also angry with me for a comment I made and wanted to probably see how big a cheater I am lol 🙂 Now this p1200.. named RHP Sucks, what can I do to report his verbal abuse ? And btw.. I hate, utterly hate 1 minute games, the mind does not work..
