It seems very wierd, but today, I've claimed a grand total of 9 skulls!!! Here are the games I won (yes they're all rated), all either clan challenges or from Tournament 2529:
I have two opponents that have yet to move. It shows that the clock isn't winding down but I think otherwise. So, what happens when the time runs out, does the skull appear?

It seems that move notifications may not have been going out today (not sure for how long exactly). Hopefully your opponents weren't relying on those reminders.
Although the outage may not have been long enough to make a difference.
I remember claiming two skulls against Regicidal before the games even started in a hardcore grand tournament. In the future, people, wait till 2 moves are made in the hardcore tournaments (ex. 0/21, 0/60), then take the skulls. The games don't become rated until the games are at least 2 moves old.

I imagine a lot of people don't know it works that way. It's not exactly well-advertised, and it contradicts what they tell you when you enter the tournament about all the games being rated. When I first saw it happen, I thought it was just some unintended side effect of normal games being unrated before 2 moves. Only later did I find out it's a well-beloved feature to many people.
