Send them a postcard.

On the game screen, click on your opponent's user-name. On the left side of the next screen will be an option to "message opponent". No need to notify RHP.

You need to message them and ask them to PLEASE give you some extra time as you will be away from the site.

I used to do this before vacation system, and was only timed out 1 time. I did not play that user again, and I believe they got cancer.
