I got paid a few times for playing in the early 80's. (when I was good.)
These days they pay me not to play.
My mate on here (he wishes to remain unknown) did not fair too well v his 1.g3.
He sent me the score of the game adding...

I didn't go for a fag, paused before my first move and reminded myself a
few times how ugly my opponent was then proceeded to play like a donkey.
You'll like the game; He got a rook sac in.
And as some wag once remarked the attacker always wins.
(I guess I'm the wag, I also advised not leaving the board for a smoke till
you have it wrapped up, chew gum.)
