What is your secret? What are your hints to success?

Well the rise to 1530 came from me finishing all the games I had won positions in but my opponents were to tight to actually resign.

There are still some of them still going!

Then I started using databases in a big way.

Resulting in unwary 1600 (and one 1800 rated player from WWFD clan who is playing a rook down) rated players being anihiliated before move 15.

Also the halt in the flow of free pieces to my opponent may have helped.

292?! How much time do you give each game..? 1 minute? In that case, 1700 is pretty good..

I only need to play between 20-50 moves a day giving me 2-4 minutes per game.

When you consider a lot of those will be opening moves, recaptures, moves I saw when I played the move before, moving out of check it's not really that hard.😀

Galaxy shield plays over twice the amount of games I play.

I'm never in the top 30 of movers per month.

Last month I think I just about scraped in the top 150.

It's not hard.🙄

You'd levelled-out at around 1400 in December, that means at this rate you should be #1 on the site by around August😛😀
