A list of all 751 players who so far have finished at least one game.

Plus a handful of game mostly showing chucked wins.

{White should play 1.cxd4 and have excellent winning chances. A passed pawn up. Instead White missed a cute wee trick.} 1. Qxd4 Qxd4 2. cxd4 {White is now a passed pawn up but...} 2..a3 {...and the c-pawn Queens. White resigned. }[/pgn]
Haha did you have to make me relive that.

Actually I was talking about the leaderboard. Surely you didn't do it by hand.

Ok. Don't know much about chess software and what you can do with it. Infact I have no chess programs on my computer now. Just the one that comes with windows7, and thats so bad I can hammer it on its highest settings.

An odd game for me in the tournament. An Ruy Lopez that went out of book. Felt like there were missed opportunities on both sides of the board. I was white and up material but black had well-posted bishops and owned the g-file on my king.

I assume that it's set up so you can update it quickly, and not have to go through the whole process all over again?

here is definitely has to be Nf5. Black resigns.} 1-0[/pgn]
What a clean, logical, and well-played game. Even if the moves were less than perfect (which I can't judge, of course!), each move seemed pretty clear in terms of the player was trying to accomplish, so it was fun and easy to follow, especially with the excellent notes.

I now think that my worry of the impending death of the chess forum was premature.

17.Rd1 dxe5 {? probably not best but maybe black will play this} 18.exd5

And with the d file In whites grasp I don't see how black copes with the threat of a rook lift by white as running his king to f8 gets mated by Qxh7-h8/g8
