6/6 for Fabiano. Destroyed Topolov in just 31 moves yesterday. 3 point lead. looks unstoppable.

I think it's time for McArlsen to pull out of the defence of his World Champion title against Anand and play Caruana instead. He'll make more money and we'll get a more exciting match - everyone's a winner! (except FIDE).

Apparently Carl Magnuson is in danger of getting his title taken away
if he does not play, he has yet to sign the contract. FIDE extended the
deadline but the match is still in the balance.

I think a match v Caru Fabian would be good, though I reckon this time
around Andrew will give Manguson a good run....if the match takes place.

All kneel to the new God of Chess!! Caruana has halved Carlsens rating lead in 6 games!! Live rating 2830 (from 2801 at the beginning of the tournament). Could he finish on 100%??? Is that possible? This could be the tournament of a decade, perhaps a century! Just incredible chess! Bravo!!

7/7 and now can do no worse than tie for 1st. Will Magnus stir himself to try and catch Fabiano tomorrow, or will he concede and get on preparing for Anand?

I like watching the commentary on the Sinquefield Cup games by GMs. Like someone plays a triple exclam, Seirawan calmly says "That looks like a pretty good move." Master of understatement and a true great.

Great player, but his announcing style is too Mr-Rogers for my taste.
