I am getting fed up with the amount of times I click 'move' then realise I have made a blunder and desperatly try to hit a tiny stop button at the top of the screen(heart palpatations included).I am usually to slow.I am not entirely serious here but 'I' need one.

I'm pretty sure once you press move it's all over. The order to the system is in. Pressing stop/unpluging your computer only stops the next page from loading. What you've done is done.

I wouldn't be opposed to a 60 second takeback option.

No matter how quick i get there, once the data has even gotten a wiff of being sent, its too late. my advice to you as well as myself. Take a better look at the board before you move.

This is a terrible idea. What happens when you hit the clock in a real game, or touch the piece? I get mad over ICC having the takeback request. Trust me, I have done this many times here, so I know how you feel, but that is the beauty of correspondence: You can take out a board and look at your move after it's played. So do that or sit on your hands for another 20 seconds.

Its even easier than this! Just use the analysis tool - its a button on your game screen. Here you can move pieces around as you like - then just click back on the last move line in the scroll down window to get it back as it was. No need for any button with this tool - excellent too for reviewing earlier mistakes and seeing what you should have done.

Give it a go.

I agree with you, blunders are a part of the game. Getting better involves developing mental discipine.
