20. Rxb2 and white would have been winning or at least in a strong position
Then white hung his knight for no good reason on move 22 and the game was resignable for white at every point thereafter. I'm surprised he chose to play on another 40 moves with an utterly lost position. In RHP blitz, people usually just disconnect after making those kind of blunders.
I think 21 n x b4 would still have been ok for white perhaps.
I have never really played Blitz before joining here last week and it strikes me that it perhaps requires a slightly different approach to slower games - certainly having some stock openings and not trying to improvise (early on) too much seems like a good idea in the really quick games.
