Here is an amusing little lightning (one minute) game that I just finished:

[Event "ICS Unrated lightning match"] [Site "freechess.org"] [Date "2015.07.14"] [Round "-"] [White "paulbuchman"] [Black "Guest"] [WhiteElo "2211"] [TimeControl "60"] 1.e4 c5 2.c3 Qa5 {The idea is 3.d4 cxd4, and white can not recapture on d4 because the c3 pawn is pinned.} 3.b4 {I like to play wildly in lightning ... and sometimes regular chess too! 3.d4 cxd4 4.b4 is a try too.} cxb4 4.cxb4 {If 4. ... Qxb4, we have a new wing gambit. Usually, the a pawn is gone in the wing gambit, not the c pawn.} Qb6 {Careful, cautious play - usually not good for lightning} 5.Nc3 g6 {Now that I know what he is up too - avoiding complications - hence no capture on b4 - developing slowly - Bg7 etc - I begin to beat him to the punch in every move here on! It's kind of funny how I have something prepared for each of his moves, but that just comes from experience in lightning with the clock pounding.} 6.Nd5 {To attack the queen AND beat him to the long diagonal} Qd8 {Qd4 looked good, in fact I missed it. I can hobble back with Nc3 or just play Nc7+. Knowing that he is cautious, I didn't have to look for moves like Qd4, tossing the queen right in the middle of things.} 7.Bb2 f6 {Here, I figured he would just rapidly try to evict the knight with e6. ... } 8.e5 e6 {Right again! ... Bg7 looks good.} 9.Nxf6+ Nxf6 10.exf6 Kf7 {or else f7+ and Bxh8} 11.Nf3 {With checks on e5 or g5 probably followed by f7, he is in big trouble.} h5 {This could be a mouse slip - h6- but Ne5+ still keeps it going.} 12.Ng5+ Kg8 {White really hasn't developed many pieces - only using 3 minors, but black's only developed piece is the absent king's knight!} 13.f7#
Three black pieces around the king are attacked, and none can be taken! ... and after Ne3 (to protect g2) Bxe3 we get this.
Only the e3 bishop can be taken, but it's mate on g2. Still, it's a nice configuration of black pieces.
Again, this is 1-Minute, so don't expect much. Here is how we got there:

Nf3 d5 3. Bb5+ c6 4. Bd3 dxe4 5. Bxe4 f5 {Maybe too much - It wins a piece, but the black kingside is about to get torn apart. You don't want to have to make fine defensive moves with a minute on the clock.} 6. Nxe5 fxe4 {In for a penny, in for a pound ... Maybe, something like Qf6 (defending h8) works.} 7. Nc4 {Qh5+ was the way to go- then maybe g6 Nxg6 hxg6 Qxh8 -- very wild} Nf6 8. O-O Bc5 9. Nc3 O-O 10. h3 Qc7 {already angling for Qg3 tricks} 11. d3 Bxh3 {If 12.gxh3 Qg3 and Qxh3 and then maybe Ng4 - It's an easy attack for a fast game.} 12. Nxe4 Nxe4 13. dxe4 Qg3 {After you've seen Frank James Marshall do it, it's all easy! ... g2 is going to fall.} 14. Qf3 Rxf3 {White resigned}
