1.e4 c5 2.c3 Qa5 {The idea is 3.d4 cxd4, and white can not recapture on d4 because the c3 pawn is pinned.} 3.b4 {I like to play wildly in lightning ... and sometimes regular chess too! 3.d4 cxd4 4.b4 is a try too.} cxb4 4.cxb4 {If 4. ... Qxb4, we have a new wing gambit. Usually, the a pawn is gone in the wing gambit, not the c pawn.} Qb6 {Careful, cautious play - usually not good for lightning} 5.Nc3 g6 {Now that I know what he is up too - avoiding complications - hence no capture on b4 - developing slowly - Bg7 etc - I begin to beat him to the punch in every move here on! It's kind of funny how I have something prepared for each of his moves, but that just comes from experience in lightning with the clock pounding.} 6.Nd5 {To attack the queen AND beat him to the long diagonal} Qd8 {Qd4 looked good, in fact I missed it. I can hobble back with Nc3 or just play Nc7+. Knowing that he is cautious, I didn't have to look for moves like Qd4, tossing the queen right in the middle of things.} 7.Bb2 f6 {Here, I figured he would just rapidly try to evict the knight with e6. ... } 8.e5 e6 {Right again! ... Bg7 looks good.} 9.Nxf6+ Nxf6 10.exf6 Kf7 {or else f7+ and Bxh8} 11.Nf3 {With checks on e5 or g5 probably followed by f7, he is in big trouble.} h5 {This could be a mouse slip - h6- but Ne5+ still keeps it going.} 12.Ng5+ Kg8 {White really hasn't developed many pieces - only using 3 minors, but black's only developed piece is the absent king's knight!} 13.f7#
