Would anyone be interested in a game of Seirawan chess? In addition to the standard pieces, each player has one elephant (a rook-knight compound) and one hawk (a bishop-knight compound). Details of the game can be found at http://www.seirawanchess.com/ and at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seirawan_chess

I'm happy to play either white or black.

I've never played, but the House of Staunton offers plastic pieces to go with their regular sets.

I received my pieces the other day. They're very nice. Would you be interested in playing?

I'm sorry, but I have too much going on at this time to take on something new like this. I did not know there was a means of playing online or even a method of notation.

That's fine. Would anyone else be interested in playing through the forum? Notation is as per usual, but when you drop a piece you write it in brackets after your move (i.e. Eg1 if an elephant appears on g1). E is for elephant and H is for hawk.
