1. d4 Nf6 2. c4 g6 3. Nc3 d5 4. Bf4 Bg7 5. Nf3 c6 6. e3 Nbd7 7. Rc1 O-O 8.
c5 b6 9. b4 a5 10. a3
{
Maybe I should have played Qa4
Only saw that in the after-game-analysis or whatever you want to call it.
}
10... axb4 11. axb4 bxc5 12. bxc5 Ra3 13. Be2
{
I thought after Bd3, then my knight was stuck (bishop would hang).
So I played Be2
}
13... Qa5 14. Qd2 Nh5 15. O-O Nxf4 16. exf4
{
My opponent was saying that Bg2 is better, but I disagree (still)
If Bg2 Nxg2 hxg2, then the h-file is useless when I castle
or if fxg2 then my e pawn becomes a target.
This way I have control over e5 and he has now a weakness on e7.
}
16... Nxc5
{
Apparantly winning a pawn but I have the surprising move..........
}
17. Nxd5
{
!!
Now there are lots of possible lines but I always have the inbetween
moves like Nxe7+ (if he plays Qxd2 or something like that)
}
17... cxd5 18. Qxa5 Rxa5 19. dxc5 Ba6
{
I wrote a question mark for him here because his bishop could be good.
}
20. Bxa6 Rxa6 21. Rfd1 e6 22. Nd4 Rc8 23. Nb3 Rac6 24. Rd2 Bf8
{
e5 wouldnt work for him because of Rxd5
}
25. Rdc2 Bg7 26. Rd2
{
My notation was R2D2... Haha
My move was a droid from Star Wars... ok ill shut up 🙂
}
26... Rb8 27. Rd3 Bf8 28. g3 Rbc8 29. Kg2
{
He offers a draw and i snatch it up in a second.
}
1/2-1/2
