Based on your skill level superubernoober, I would stick to the very basics to begin with. You're not ready for anything advanced.

He offered good advice. I agree with him. You should start with the basics.
How about you calm down.

Don't sweat it supernoob.

My advice is too find a basic, beginner's chess book that focuses on tactics. Learn how to spot them and use them against your opponents. Don't worry about too much else for now. You can find lots of those books at Barnes & Noble, Borders Books, etc...

Just tactics.

Good luck!

Perhaps if you were not so obnoxious, people would treat you accordingly.

for example, in another thread, you ridiculed somebody for not knowing that reinstalling Chessmaster would fix window positioning problems.

Guess what. You were wrong. Reinstalling does NOT alter the window positions stored with the user profile.

But you seemed not to know that restoring the initial layout was easier (4 clicks) and would work.

Remember something, d00d. If you think you already know everything, you will never learn anything.

I think that would be inappropriate for supernoober. What he needs to start with is the basics that cover fundamental things like development, the importance of castling (and what it is), controlling the center, etc.
