Well, more power to you. But spending your time worrying about what Akizy is doing is absolutely pathetic.

I am puzzled as to how you have me summed up as pathetic, from reading one question I have asked

The reason for my interest is that I always monitor the top guys games so that I can hopefully learn from them. When I checked his record earlier I noticed his loss tally had risen considerably and I was simply puzzled as to how this happened. This does not make me a fan boy, and does not mean I am pathetic. You assuming that I am *worrying* about Akizy shows that you have not thought this through before posting. I worry about my children and my wife and family and friends. I dont worry about unknown randoms on a chess site.

Tell me, why didn't you ask me, instead of being sarcastic and insulting?

I thought it was a perfectly reasonable question, if that helps.

I didn't say you were pathetic, I said worrying about it was. You'll have to forgive me for my abrasiveness in the matter. It just seems lately that people spend alot of time talking about everyone else on the site when it doesn't affect them in any way shape or form, rather than playing chess and talking about the weather, movies, music, etc. etc. I'm sorry I said anything at all.

Well, you see.. I'm sure that he's not worrying too much about Akizy but when the best player on the site (who had lost just 3 games) has suddenly lost 11 further games within a few days, it generates a bit of interest.

If you or I lost 11 games in a few days, noone would give a stuff - it's only given a mention as Akizy is the best player on the site. I'm sure it's pretty reasonable to make the point.

Exactly. If "Tiger Woods misses cut in tournament" makes the news, this is the local equivalent.
