    either way, you're winning, but I like the simple Rxd3 over 28. ... Qd8
    either way, your opponent completely missed out on it all...
    Re2, Re1, Rf1, or any kingside (f, g, h file) pawn move would save the quick mate. ike I said, you win either way, and it was mostly by your opponent's mistake that this "Alekhine's Gun" worked.

    I have almost gotten it in a few games. My queen gets sandwich between my rooks. Sometimes it works though.
