What are all the Sicilian Games with Names? To start with there are:

    Najdorf
    Dragon
    Sveshnikov
    Sheveningen
    Paulsen

And what else? Is there a Shvenigen?

What would you suggest as the best response to the Sicilian? I have tried the smith morra counter with little success and have failed miserably with the Grand Prix. However I am quite a passive player and going a pawn down with the gambit does not suit my style.

Try 2 c3 or The Rossolimo 3.Bb5 which I started playing
in the early 80's just to avoid Black various set up's.

There are also variations where white takes Nd4XNc6 and also black plays Nc6XNd4. It's called the CP Variation. Look at my games.

I just got a rare win OTB rolling over the top of a 2.c3 Sicilian... I'd suggest the Rossolimo instead!

Is the "B22 Sicilian, Alapin Variation" also called the "c3 Sicilian?"

How do you avoid a complete liquidation of center pawns after 1.e4 c5 2.c3 d5? Or do you care about avoiding it.
