Alright, so I haven't checked this with an engine, but looked at it for a long time on a board so here goes:

Rxb2+!! Kxb2 (All other don't really make sense) Qb4+ :

Kc1? Bg5+! Rd2 Qxc3 -+

Ka1! Qxc3+ Kb1 Qb4+ Ka1 Bf6+ Bd4 Ne3!! And Black wins in all lines (I think!) Notice that now Rd1?? is simply answered by Bxd4+
Re1?? right?

I swear I considered that move so often...but I didn't analyze it. Strange how the mind works sometimes. Awesome find, Tony.

Yeah, I can't think of anything for white here. Nice combo, I assume you won? 🙂

Haha yeah. I think you got it. 🙂 Yeah probably one of the sicker combos I have played. Maybe the best. Always nice to find a move like Ne3!! 4 or 5 moves into an already interesting position. 😀

Yeah, crazy position, he plays Kb1 to "improve" his defense, only to get hit with that. 😛

Well, I'm out - late and I have plenty of work when I wake up. Later.

Spotting Ne3 before playing Rxb2+ is very impressive visualisation!

I keep missing wins like this OTB at longish time limits . . .

What's your secret?

A couple things help me out alot. A lot of them may sound super dumb but they work for me.

1. Always look at checks captures and threats. Doing this dilligently will actually find you every move in this combination, albeit after a pretty long time. I normally only check this when on the first move and if I am having trouble.

2. I also think about that famous Bobby Fischer or Alekhine quote, something about combinations flowing out of better positions. So when I see an opponent play bad or somewhat bad moves, I am starting to search fiendishly for combos. Moves like Bg1, h3, and even Qa4 made me want to find one really badly, not to mention his sickly dark squares! I literally convinced myself Rb2 worked, and then wouldn't stop searching for moves until I found a win.

3. Lastly, I got kind of lucky in this instance that the obvious confinement of white's king lead me to consider any crazy way to check him, since it leads to mate. And then came Ne3.

4. Did I mention I got a little bit lucky!?
