recently i've been playing the best chess i've ever played and getting the results that comes with it. but i still feel more comfortable playing as black. any reasons for this?

Basically, as white you get the opportunity to get it wrong before black does. With the black pieces you should be playing a defence you understand well, with the white pieces you are attacking a position you may never have seen before, consequently you will tend to understand the positions where you are playing black better.
This ceases to be true at the top levels as they are better at planning and don't end up drifting so easily.

Why didnt you castle anyway?
I almost totaly gave away my advantage. At move 42 you could have played Rf3.....42....Rxf3+. 43. Kxf3, Kh4.....Now its looking more draw to me...I dont understand pawns that good tho:p
Good games, looking forward to the rematch where I will just win both games:p

i think i'm capable of being a 1800, took 4 years to get to 1600 so why not 1800 in a few more 🙂
