Another Horrible Game

I have just finished an OTB game against a guy of 2061 ELO (I have a national rating of 1569) and lost. I really do not understand what was the problem with my play. I felt reasonably comfortable when I was playing, but spent too much time in moves like 23...Qc5 and 24...a5 which resulted in my flag falling. After the game my opponent said that I should have played on the Kingside instead of the Queenside. Is that true?

Can you please analyse this game? I am really confused 😕
