White to play and win, black's last move was Kh5-g5.

    Also taken from ChessTempo.

It took me about 40 minutes to solve, which is really long for me
(usually, if I don't find the solution within a couple of minutes, I guess).
Took ages for me to see the key move. I was wondering if people see
this thing instantly or had a hard time like me

And of course Nf7+ .. Ne5+ etc which is what I would probably play in an otb game...

I got the first move rather quickly, but for the wrong reason!
    Qd8
seems the most forcing move, simply because black must go
    ...Kh5

otherwise white shall simply wins the Rook after Qxh4+ I must admit that i never got
    the continuation afterwards

If you enjoy the study of chess tactics, I put out a free chess tactics newsletter that you might like. It comes out every other day, and includes an original chess tactics problem (none taken from chess tempo for example), a chess quote, the complete game score, fun facts/story about the game or position, and some analysis of the solution.

Most of the problems are 1-3 moves in difficulty. Many are taken from RHP games.

You can sign up at http://tacticstime.com or send me a PM here with your email address, and I can add you to the mailing list.

There is a one click unsubscribe link with each email, so there is no risk, and no hassle if you don't like it.

    Cheers,
    Timmy
