Hi Mr. Jennings,

I"m so glad you enjoyed the article. As far the the chess problems go, we should have clarified that the challenge was to figure out how to do it in five moves, even though it could be done in less, or, of course, more. I guess that's why it's a "puzzle" and not an actual game. Thanks for writing,
