Castling, en-passant, and promoting a pawn is just about it, really. Maybe you can understand en-passant better if you view a pawn's ability to move 2 quares forward as a special priviledge, not a right, and that he cannot do so in order to avoid capture by an opposing pawn. If he excercises his priviledge any opposing pawn can view his 2 moves forward as only 1 move forward for the purpose of capture. But en-passant, if desired, must be taken in immediate response to the move, it can't be retrosepctive.
There is also the hardly known but very common "un pissant" move. This is where you log onto RHP after a skinfull of guinness, believe you are a grandmaster and make moves which undoubtly lead you to getting a good wallopping from much lower ranked players. I practiced this on several occasions and everytime it hasn't failed, got wallopped everytime.

Hey how about getting together one day and playing chess on a real board ...
Here are MY rules (for both players)
1. For every move made you'll have to drink three fingers (fill a pint glass, grap it with your hand and drink the equivalence of three fingers)
2. For every piece you take of you opponent, you'll have to drink half a pint
3. If you win a game, you'll have to drink a pint
How many games you reckon we could play on a day???
Anyone else interested ???
LOL
PS: If anyone wonders ... I mean drinking Guiness of course !!!
