Yes. That's right. But there are different versions of Hydra. When it comes out on retail (and I don't know when it will), undoubtably it won't be nearly as strong. Nickel played the Chimera version. Adams lost 4 1/2 - 1/2 OTB to Hydra Scylla, a stronger version, I believe.

You could train a machine to beat anyone you like if you prepare well enough. I actually went to see Adams play in Wembley (i live down the road, lucky me!!) and i remember the programmer strutting around like he was some kind of chess God, answering questions after the match. What a tosser!! I bet he must have spent years playing with an engine online, stroking his own ego, amongst other things....
