When players get banned,do their subsciptions get cancelled and their games resigned?
I have 2 members of my clan whose subscription stars have dissappeared and their games have been resigned, but there is nothing saying that they have been banned.
Does it take like 24 hours for this to show?

Are you sure that they did not resign these games themselves?

It's due to Rayleigh scattering:

This is also an excellently played game by Vampirella http://www.timeforchess.com/gameanalysis/boardhistory.php?gameid=5059232

though her/his opponent did slip up a bit by letting a pawn walk down and take the g pawn and h rook.

Rayleigh scattering

GDC A

There is a physical phenomenon
called Rayleigh scattering
that causes light to scatter when it passes through particles
with a diameter

one-tenth that of the wavelength (color)
of the light. Sunlight is
made up of all different colors of light,
but because of the elements

GC A

In the atmosphere
The color blue is scattered
Much more efficiently
Than the other colors.

You will often see!

Back in the old days, the days of yore
There was a giant named Rayleigh
Who was getting really bored

He took a whole bunch of elements
And put them in a guard
And placed it at the end of a 2x4

He used a Mt. for a fulcrum
He put on his boots
He jumped in the air
In the air it shoots!

The guard broke open
The sky turned blue
That’s how it all went down
Why would I lie to you?

I would not lie to you!

Wow wow wow!! I'll add this to my list of favorite songs (mmmh, somewhere between New Math and The Element Song). Did you write it / sing it?

With my apologies for derailing an "only chess" thread....

I bet if you and I had a couple games like that, it would get far more commentary. 😉 Then again I have been wrong before. 😛

Looks like they enjoy playing each other, they have played almost as much as you and I have. 😉
