I was wondering what you all considered the best chess game. I have chess master 9000 and i have fritz chess engine and i was wondering if you guys thought there was any others that are better, or just some good chess games. I would also really like to know the name of a chess game that's handheld, and has a variety (at least more 3) of people so that as i get better i can have opponents that match me and not way over power me. And that last sentence was a handheld, you know battery opporated, for cars and stuff. Did i spell "opporated" right?
I bought Chessmaster 5500 some years ago. I recently saw Chessmaster 7000 on sale for $5.00 (+$3.00 postage). Anyone know if the later version is that much better than the earlier and worth the 8 bucks. Or maybe I should hold off and go for a more expensive program, like ChessAssistant or something.
