I have 2 HOS sets-the Windsor Castle,and a red and black Jaques 19th century style. The Polgar Chess Club in NYC has a heavy,"plastic-wood" style that is very durable. But,when it comes right down to it,nothing matches the good old Hong Kong special.

I really like my Ultimate Staunton Triple Weight, bought via the USCF. I've never had to throw a piece at anyone, but if I did, I'd be well-armed.

Good solid feel, durable, meaty - what you want in a chess piece.

Okay, maybe I need to go to bed...
