He might have had a winning position but you could see he was totally intimidated by Magnus, it wouldn't have mattered one way or the other, he still would have lost.

Apparently Bill had two minutes - Magnius 30 seconds.
Too awful to be stage managed.

Bill is a just a normal bod who knows the moves of the game.

I'd add that 2 minutes seems like an insanely fast time control for a new player. Heck, there are experienced players who hate it too.
