For anybody here that is experienced with the Bishops Gambit, what do you do when black plays an early c6? For example:

1. e4 e5 2. f4 exf4 3. Bc4 Nf6 4. Nc3 c6 5. Nf3 Nxe4 6. Nxe4 d5 7. Bxd5 cxd5

This line comes from the third game I played using the King's Gambit, so the line is likely very shaky. (I don't actually know though since I usually play the King's Knight Gambit)

c6 is the main line. Maybe the best response down the line you played is 1. e4 e5 2. f4 exf4 3. Bc4 Nf6 4. Nc3 c6 5.Bb3 d5 6.exd5 cxd5 7.d4

Ah I see, this avoids the obvious fork, but forces the bishop to move twice. Thanks for the help, I might have to try the Bishop Gambit sometime.
