Blitz query/bug?

Apologies if this has come up previously
Is there a known error where it looks like your opponent doesn't move and his clock counts down only you don't a timeout win?
When you then exit the game you get a message telling you you lose.
If so, what does your opponent have the same experience?

uh are we talking about correspondence or blitz chess?

edit: ah my bad didn't read the title. A different clarifying question. You were playing said blitz chess on this site and not on say... playchess? If you were playing here I don't see how this is possible.

I hear it sometimes happens. it hardly matters, as rhp blitz is unrated.

To clarify, I was playing blitz on this site. It happens regularly enough.
I know its unrated but can be a little annoying if you think you're getting the upper hand and then the game hangs
