I dont really understand whats so great about blitz chess? Isn't it just a memory game? You have to know what move your going to make immediatley after your opponent moves. The winner is the one who has memorized more moves, right?

Originally posted by simba4yeah of course I can work variations out in blitz chess. and guess what, I also do so. Do you really think that after, say, 20 moves you'll always end up with a familiar position where you can remember what you did last time in that same position??
Yeah but in "normal" chess if you dont remember you can "work it out" But in Blitz can you work it out? Also I'm just inquiring why do people on these forums always post snide remarks?
