Can someone tell me what i can do to keep the game from coming so close to a draw when i have an advantage?

Just a few remarks (going backwards):

35.h3 (instead ofRb8) avoided queen exchange

30.Rxe5 (instead of Qc7+) If black plays Qb1+ Kf2 Qxb2? Kg3! and game over

25.Rxa5 (instead of Qd2) is stronger than on the next move.

Also, I didn't like 15.exf6. That way you give black counterplay. Better Bd3 h6 Nf3

I agree with Mephisto2.

30. Qxc7+ seems to be your biggest error and gives Black some hope (not much though!)

30. Rxe5 looks best. (30. ... Qh4 31. Qc7+ and Black has nothing!)
30. Qxe5 is OK too but will let Black run your king around for a while or just exchange Queens which will give you a won end game.
