Only Chess

I'm hoping Ding Liren wins it.
I think a Liren vs Carlsen WC would be interesting.

The internet says the classical score is 1 win for Carlsen and 9 draws so they are quite close.

Yes, they are close. I will add however if Ding gets his chance, he'd better bring his "A" game. Carlsen has proven himself to be very tough when defending his title.

If he wins the next 2 WC I'm putting him as the best all time.

If he runs away like Fischer then he will only hurt chess.

Ouch.
Ding takes a loss to Nepo and Ding had the White pieces.

Caruana beat Naka with white.

The other two games were drawn.

Fischer was one and done. Hardly comparable

@ketchuplover

I wasn't comparing his success to Fischer.

I said if Magnus wins 2 more WC's I'm putting him as the best all time.

Then I said if he runs away like Fischer instead of playing it will only hurt chess.

Nowhere in my statement was I comparing either players achievements and both statements were seperate points.

I don't even have Fischer in my top 5.

Naka bounces back with a win.

The other 3 games were draws.

Day 4

3 draws and Nepo crushed Firouzja for a win.
He now leads the tournament.

Day 5 all draws.

Ding had a winning position but blundered into a drawn game.
