    Cheating is a form of lying-he is dishonest about his moves. Why shouldn't we also expect him to be dishonest about his accomplishments.

    I would, for one, welcome TheBigPuss back if he came honest about his play and agreed to play honestly from this time on. That has been discussed before. However, I expect he is too proud (sad) or disillusioned about himself.

    I looked through the completed game history for TheBigKat User 653175 and analysed the most recently completed non-thematic games with 35+ moves where the opponents were rated in excess of 2000.
    All database moves were excluded from analysis.

    AMD Phenom x4 2.30 Ghz 4GB RAM

    { TheBigKat (Games: 20) }

    { Top 3 Match: 692/745 ( 92.9% )

    For comparison, here are the match rates for the top 10 Super GM's vs 2600+ FIDE rated opponents:

    Just to be clear here, I'm not defending anyone, merely asking a question. Wouldn't you expect players facing that level of competition to match up less? With both players striving for the advantage, the difference between moves 1-4 and moves 5-8 might not be very much. Whereas, if TheBigKat is truly as good as he claims, and the level of competition here presumably lower than 2600, the correct moves or plans may be more obvious.

    It's not like the analysis for TheBigKat includes games vs patzers. Opponents were all rated in excess of 2000 & on this site that puts them well within the first percentile of highest rated players.
    More than this, many opponents are on the first few pages of the player tables & the games analysed were the longer (more balanced and closely fought) ones.
