CHECKMATE in under 20 moves

8 moves!

A beauty at 17 moves, but a blunder causes the immediate win. The game would have been longer but I think I was still very close to mate after 17. Kb1 Nc4 (not the cop-out Qxe3, because ...Rb8 is sweeeeeet after that b file is clear!).

I wish I had the skills to put the board in a post, but here are two recent ones that may not be the best played games, but I am VERY proud of them.

mate in 14. not too proud of this one. my opponent was likely a beginner given how quickly he lost the center and not much in opening theory. but he accepted my open invitation and must have had access to my rating record.

Ok, 21, but that's practically 20... 🙂
