man that hurts huh

i was wondering why you never took the bishop on move seven - your obviously a good player (at least the ratings say you'd kick my a$$ lol) so can you please help one in severe need of help by pointing out why i would have been wrong to take it?

Or am i missing something really obvious? 😕😳

I was afraid of something like 7...Kxf7 8.Ng5+ Kg8 9.Qxg4 etc. Better than the mess I ended up in though🙂

I would like to say i had this planned all along but i only ever think tactics for about 2 moves ahead, i just play what feels right. Still i'm reasonably proud.

I've just been looking through my archive and although it's handy to be able to filter by clan / league / tournament game it would be handy to have number of moves displayed somewhere, perhaps even make it a sortable field, being able to filter by wins / losses, playing as white / black would help too.

Thank you for that, Im pretty sure I would have been away with that and feeling rather good about it (to begin with at least) so ill try to watch for that in future.

Also I totally agree with the whole sortable by move suggestion. Have you thought of asking Russ if its feasable?

I know he's great with implimenting suggestions, he did one of mine before (to have the buddy list sorted by rating, so you can see where you are against your mates). Although I prob wasnt the only one to drop that one in the suggestion box lol. Still, seeing my suggestion materialise within a few days was cool.

He really was having a bad day huh. nice games from both you and Bad Wolf though - glad I wasnt on the recieving end of any of them lol

I did have a guy get fools mate on me OTB once, I know ill never fall for that one again but there are quite a few posted here that I think I would probably fall for - not a good sign really lol - maybe its time for me to start studying some openings lol
