How do you get a 1300 who plays like that and I get 1300s who play like 1600-1700s on this site.

Honestly, falling for the scholar's mate should drop the loser 500 points if they are above 1200 regardless of the opponent's difficulty

I achieved my highest ranking ever at FICS with this game. We were within 9 rating pionts of each other when the game started.
