Umm, scholar's and fool's mate are the same thing, just different names.

Nope. Fool's mate is the one in the game above. Scholar's mate is the moves for one side e4 Bc4 Qf3 Qxf7# or something similar.

I believe in my "Chess for Dummies" book, it said they were the same. Or maybe it was blitzkrieg...Hmm. Well, doesn't really matter, either way they're both horrible ways to lose πŸ˜›.

"Chess for Dummies" is wrong in this case. Scholar's Mate is as ark13 described, and the fool's mate is 1.f4 e5 2.g4?? Qh4#.
