Hi Bowmann.

SRC is an elaborate hoax and nothing more.

If you actually have people playing a game that they think is Stanley Random Chess against an "opponent," God bless you. You have my vote for the Hoaxster Hall of Fame.

Nice try though.

I already know it's a hoax.

Read my post about the games you "think" you are playing.

The computer is playing with you and not the other way around.

OK, I'm sure that adds to the illusion that you are playing a game.

There are no rules.

There is no such person as Gary Topov.

There is no game called Stanley RANDOM Chess.

At RANDOM intervals, the computer makes RANDOM moves for you and your opponent creating an entirely RANDOM event that appears to be a game but is actually nothing more than a show put on for your benefit.

I'm sorry. You're probably right that the made-up first name of the fictional world champion of this hoax is Gregory and not Gary.

In my mind for it to be a real game there would have to be real rules and a real objective. This hoax has neither. Just random moves and a random winner.

Fischer Random Chess is a real game with real rules and real objectives.

Stanley random Chess is a fake game with fake rules and a fake objective.

I've never cut a limb off either, but I'm pretty sure that isn't a good idea.
