I have recently aquired Chess Master 8000, and it seems everytime I play a rated game, the game is ALWAYS the same. I dont even have to think of what to do, or what he is going to do. The games go exactly the same. Here is how it always goes (first few moves):
1. Pe2-e4 Kb8-a6
2. Kg1-f3 Ka6-Kb8
3. Pd2-d4 Kb8-a6
4. Kb1-c3 Ka6-b8
5. Bf1-d3 Pg7-g6
Where i am white. I could write out the game before it even happend :x It is like this with every player.. and im kind of lost on why o.O

Have you checked your settings?Maybe you have to adjust some of them.If that's not the problem,then uninstall and re-install the program.If that doesn't help,then I guess your only option is to go back to the store and ask for explanation or another copy.
Don't be picking on CM... he beats we well. version 6000, 8000, 9000 and I am sure any early version.
If it is any setting I would guess you told CM you are rated low?
What player ratings are you playing in your "Loop Games"? Are they all low rated?

edit! If CM is really playing that line with you I think you should tell it you are rated 1300 and see if the game changes.
It has to do with the opening books. I'm not sure which player you are playing but some of them have a limit "book". There is one lady who will play the exact same response to your moves every time as she is following her book. If you deviate or change your moves then you get a different response.
CM8000 is not dumb. Maybe try playing a different persona? I forgot to ask... do you win every time? 😀 Just giving you a hard time. Let me know what rating persona you are playing as I'm curious. Bryan
