Why would you buy something without first checking to see what the improvements are? The site indicates the "improvements" are with respect to training using Waitzkin's new book as a foundation.
It's still a fine product, imo. It's good for a beginner and certainly better than nothing. I prefer Fritz or simply using something like ChessDb with engine integration to all the other engines via UCI.
He quit when Chess got hard....it was easy for him up untill he hit IM status...then when he realized he would have to try hard....he quit....
Now he preaches "Martial arts" which is wrong....."Martial arts" is not a good form or defense.....it leads kids into getting there butts kicked by boxers and wrestlers....

I don't know why people expect a totally different game out of the latest CM. The target audience is still the same, beginners through high end intermediate players. If you've grown past that then there are products that are for your level.
