Is it good sportspersonship to claim a timeout win? Can this be waived? What percentage of opponents come back and want to take up the game as though there was no interruption?

of course its good sportsmanship its a timed game. no different than a 30 minute timed game at a tournament, when time runs out you lose game over.

1200p's often abandon games never to return, other provisionals sometimes, non-provisionals almost always come back eventually. other than that, people have lives, they are not always going to move on time.

some claim the skulls immediately, some collect graveyards, some give additional time up to a point. it's up to you. non-sub has only 6 game slots, so there is the need for free space to be considered.

somebody using up all their time takes the risk of being timed out.

My college team needed one more play to win the Rose Bowl. Bad sports that they were, the University of Michigan took the win on time.

Haha, yeah, I timeout when I can, especially because I need those slots. But if I'm playing a 5/0, 10/15, 30/0, 90/30 etc. I'll time my opponent out immediately, because part of the game was making your move in the alloted time. This is the same situation, just with a MUCH bigger amount of time.
