I've had the same problem - I had my computer (which is much better and less blunder-prone than I am) play some Colle openings against itself and most of them ended up draws. Looking at the games it seemed that after the opening piece exchanges, white doesn't have enough to really make headway unless black makes a mistake. At the same time, if you're playing a stronger opponent, maybe that's not such a bad thing (I'd settle for a draw against a better player).
