These examples are great, that last one was really tip top quality. Thanks for the discussion everyone, I think I'm going to try some gambits and be a bit more aggressive. I've tried the Cochrane's, Evans', and King's gambit but never really more than once or twice and so I'll see how it goes.
It's fascinating to me that a game that is so predicated upon logic can offer such abundant opportunities for self-expression. I suppose that's one of the reasons why it's so addictive even after playing hundreds of games.
