Originally posted by RBHILLThis game Game 1335372 which both I and my opponent really enjoyed has a very distinct but not to obvious turning point, not concerning a pure tactical blunder. Up to move 20 I had totally messed up. My position was doomed. I had begun to dig my grave. 20 h5 turned all that around.

My opponent opted for an attempt on my king instead of grabbing the free knight. Then on move 27 he helped me again by limiting his own bishop.
There were some other mistakes too, later , that helped me to finish it sooner but I think that after 27 c6, there wasnt much he could do about the outcome.
If someone dont agree please tell me. This game is quite dear to me and I want to understand it :-)
Game 1504509
After being down by a disgusting amount, you would think this ending is something out of a fairytale.

I think this game: Game 1307912 is quite a nice comeback.
I was a bit lucky though 🙂

my opponent wasn't because d1 was never played now was it there genius?
You were very lucky to win this game. It's nothing to be proud of; you only won because your opponent played the middlegame as badly as you played the opening.
Originally posted by BigDoggProblemI never claimed I was owning anyone. The only post of mine containing that phrase was pure retaliatory sarcasm. My opponent blew this game and it ended a whole 7 minutes before I even made my post. And yes I was lucky, I'm not disputing that. I believe my words were "this ending is something out of a fairytale". I never thought I was going to win that game. I saw an unsound attack that wasn't guaranteed to work. I had nothing to lose and tried it. It worked. That's all I was saying. I was in a material and positional disadvantage and I won. Isn't that what this thread is about?

Sarcastic statements can make claims. In this one, you claim (or strongly imply) that you were 'owning' your opponent at this point in the game.
Or should we completely disregard anything you say when you're 'retaliating'?
